Our love story is a beautiful tale of connection, patience and perseverance. It all began when my mother Anntoinette and I, moved from Seattle, WA to Durham, NC. There, we met Loretta, Reko and Mario. Our mothers became friends and little did we know that this friendship would set the stage for our love story.

Sixteen years later on vacation to North Carolina, Mario and I got to spend some time together, but fear and nerves kept us from developing a relationship at that time. However, fate would have it, in 2019, I reached out to Mario, sparking a renewed connection. We began conversing daily and found ourselves staying up all night talking, laughing and establishing a deep bond.

Even though we were physically apart, we took every opportunity to see each other, flying back and forth between Washington state and North Carolina. We refused to let distance hinder the growth of our relationship. Although we knew long distance relationships have many challenges of their own, our love and commitment to each other endured.

Upon Mario's return from deployment, we took a significant step in our relationship and purchased our first home in Georgia together, symbolizing our commitment to building a family and life together.

Our love story is a testament to the power of patience, trust and willingness to overcome obstacles for love. We've shown that true love knows no bounds and with God, all things are possible. Please use our journey as a reminder that love can find it's way no matter the circumstances.
